Frequently asked questions

This will depend on many different factors, but usually to present a first approach to an architectural design, it takes between 4 to 6 weeks. This includes the design layouts and 3D visualizations.

If the budget is based on a reasonable amount, according to the scope of the project, then yes of course, I will do my best to stay within budget.

The site will determine that. I try to keep the sites as intact as possible; no land movements or fillings should happen if they are not strictly necessary.

Yes, I focus on holistic designs, which are intended to integrate every phase of the project, from the footings to the last accessory. 

It depends on the size of your project. A typical consultation is $120 an hour, plus extra fees if it's on site. A full design project could be around 15% of the total interior design budget. I charge a fixed fee per project, no extra hidden costs and no extra markups on your purchases.

Design or preliminary draft is 1.5%.

Blueprints or construction documents are 4%

Construction supervision is 5%.

This gives us a total of 10.5% of the total construction cost. These are the minimum legal percentages according to the CFIA (Colegio Federado de Ingenieros y Arquitectos).
